Greg Taylor
Bio

Coach Taylor begins his tenure as the Men's Head Lacrosse Coach after serving as the Assistant Head Coach last year.  He brings 16 years of coaching experience to Suffolk County Community College which includes coaching at the high school, middle school and youth league levels.  This includes coaching not only lacrosse, but also football and basketball.

As a player, Taylor enjoyed a successful career at Stony Brook University playing all four years for the Seawolves.  This includes serving as team captain in his senior season.  He was nominated as an alternate to the North Team in the prestigious North vs. South Game in 1998 and lead the country in save percentage that same season.  Before college, Coach Taylor played at Lynbrook High School and was a member of the lacrosse team that won the 1992 Long Island Championship.

Coach Taylor graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences and a Teaching Certification in Social Studies.  He earned his Master’s degree in Education from Molloy College.  He has been teaching high school Social Studies for the past 15 years. 

He currently lives in East Northport with his wife Patty and two children Maggie and Seamus.
