Bio

Coach Brian Klammer will be joining the softball coaching staff for the upcoming 2021 season.  Coach Klammer will assume the role of 1B coach and awork with the Sharks hitters, catchers and infielders.  Prior to joining the softball staff, Coach Klammer spent one season as the Head Men’s Baseball Coach at Suffolk County Community College in 2018.  During that season he was named Region XV Coach of the Year and the Sharks won the Region XV Championship.  Brian was also an Assistant Baseball Coach at Suffolk County Community College from 2003-2005.

During Coach Klammer’s playing days he was a 1st Team All Region 3B at Suffolk in 1999, before transferring to Dowling College where he was also a 1st Team All Region member and Gold Glove Award Winner. Brian played football at Springfield College in the fall of 1997. In high school, Coach Klammer was a 3-sport athlete; lettering in football, basketball and baseball at Babylon High School.

Coach Klammer is a member of the Suffolk County Police Department and lives in East Moriches with his wife Diana and their three children: Madison, Mackenzie and Mason.
