Bio
Gianna Postiglione will be entering her 1st season as the pitching coach on the Sharks Coaching Staff. The Sharks pitching circle is familiar territory for Gianna; she pitched for the Sharks Softball Team from 2020-2023. During that time, the team took two trips to the NJCAA World Series. Gianna was a Region XV 1st Team All Region selection in 2021, 2022 and 2023. She was also selected to the Region XV All Tournament Team in 2021 and 2023, all while pitching and playing first base. Academically, Gianna was a 3-time member of the Region XV All-Academic Team.
After graduating from Suffolk, Gianna transferred to Hofstra University where she competed on their club team and graduated with her BA in Journalism, with a concentration in Sports Media, and a minor in psychology.
