Bio
Gabriella Vacchio will be entering her 1st season as a member of the Sharks Coaching Staff. Gabby will be working with the Sharks infielders and hitters. Gabby is no stranger to the Sharks infield, as she was a Gold Glove winner at 3rd base for the Sharks during her career at Suffolk. In addition to winning the Gold Glove in 2021, Gabby was a 1st Team All Region selection in 2022 and 2023. In 2023, Gabby was named to the Region XV All Tournament Team. Gabby was also a part of the 2021 and 2023 teams that reached the NJCAA World Series. Academically, Gabby is a 3-time NJCAA All-Academic Team member being named 1st team once and 2nd Team twice. Gabby was a 3-time member of the Region XV All-Academic Team and was on the Dean’s List her entire academic career at Suffolk.
After graduating from Suffolk, Gabby continued her academic and athletic career at St. Joseph’s University-Long island. At St. Joseph’s, Gabby was on the Dean’s List every semester and graduated with her BA in history with a concentration in adolescent education.
